Spike Chunsoft has released the Japanese launch trailer for Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, which is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on January 12 in Japan.
Danganronpa V3 follows a new cast of 16 characters who find themselves kidnapped and imprisoned in a school. Kaede Akamatsu, the Ultimate Pianist, suddenly finds herself trapped inside the school alongside fifteen other Ultimate Inmates. It is here that the self-proclaimed headmaster, Monokuma, and his five Monokuma Cubs, declare a mutual killing life, in which the inmates must try to kill each other without being found out. This is once again tested in the Class Trial, where the students must determine who the culprit is, becoming faced with execution if they guess incorrectly.
Danganronpa V3 adds new gameplay elements to the Class Trials. Mass Panic Debates involve multiple characters talking over each other, making finding the correct statement harder, while Debate Scrums have groups of characters argue against each other, requiring the player to use statements from their side against the other side’s statements. New mini-games are also added.
While the Japanese version of the game is releasing tomorrow, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is due out in North America and Europe in 2017.Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony Japanese Launch Trailer
